Undergraduate Admission

Application Qualifications

Applicants should be Non-Japanese citizens and must have taken the TOEFL (excluding The Faculty of Economics) and "Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU)" conducted by Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO). Besides, applicants should meet one of the following qualifications:
  1. Those who have completed a 12-year course of school education or the equivalent overseas by March 31 of the year of application.
  2. Those who have the equivalent academic ability above 1 and have been approved by the Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho).

Number of Students Admitted

Several (for each faculty).

Selection Process

■ Faculty of Education, Art and Regional Design,Economics, Medicine,Science and Engineering, and Agriculture

Applicants will be selected according to the following criteria:
  1. EJU score
  2. TOEFL score (excluding the Faculty of Economics)
  3. Entrance examination score (written exam and an interview) conducted by Saga University

Application Period

Mid-Late November

*Applications and all supporting documents and transcripts must be postmarked by the Application Deadline. Any applications received after the deadlines will not be accepted.

Transfer Admission
Transfer students will be admitted to the Third Year on April 1 of each year.
